Duration & Eligibility

4 Years

Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a science stream, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects, and achieve a minimum aggregate score of 50% from a recognized board.

For Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) programs, admissions are both merit-based and entrance-based. Popular entrance exams include ICAR AIEEA, CUET, MHT CET, and UPCATET. ICAR conducts an all-India entrance exam for central fisheries education institutes. Other state-level exams like MHT CET and UPCATET are also used.
